New England Photo Tours and Workshops
Join us for a one-day or multi-day photo workshop or tour to various locations throughout New England. We visit various states including Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island.
Some of the photo locations we visit on our tours include Newburyport, Quabbin Reservoir, Ipswich, Plum Island, Newport, and the Maine Coast. We will photograph lighthouses, whales, wildlife, and have plenty of opportunities for landscape photography.
These photo tours and workshops are led by professional nature photographer and tour leader John Slonina. John leads photo tours and workshops to various National Parks throughout the United States.
Quabbin Reservoir, MA Fall Color
Saturday Oct 11, 2025 (Columbus Day Weekend)
Join us as we travel to photograph beautiful, majestic streams, wildflowers, rivers, wildlife, foliage and reflections at Quabbin Reservoir. This is one of my favorite places in New England. Today, Quabbin is recognized as one of the largest drinking-water reservoirs in the world, a remarkable feat of engineering, an "accidental wilderness" that is home to an impressive variety of wildlife, and a wonderful place to explore. Join us as we hike into this reservoir to experience the beauty of the wilderness, and the diversity of life found there.
Our schedule is filled with tours and presentations across the U.S. and Canada, making for an incredibly busy year. While the specific tours listed below are part of our future plans, they likely won’t take place in 2025.
Join our mailing list for updates on these and other upcoming trips—and enjoy two free eBooks as a bonus!
